I have a salt water tank, 40 gallon.what t5 lights should i use,power glo life glo or marine glo.I can use 2?
i have a 40 breeder (40 gallon) salt water tank. 1 bubble tip anemone , flamed scallop, lots of live rock, 4 salt water fish all different breeds. I have a t5 coralife light fixture, what two bulbs should i use? Marine-glo, power-glo or life-glo
The nerd is correct. Ditch the plan to use any of the glo bulbs. They are cheap, low end bulbs.
The D & D Giesemann are top of the line. UVL, ATI and there's a great new bulb on the market called WavePoint. They are very high quality bulbs. Most T5 bulbs have dark spots on the ends of the bulbs. The WavePoint bulbs maintain their intensity right to the metal caps on the ends. They also have great PAR ratings. I've included links below for some of these bulbs.
